Description:

Water-based mat exterior paint styrene acrylic co-polymer binder and silicone additive.

Properties:

The exterior paint is water proof for its water repellent nature resistant against the adverse effects of precipitation, moisture, sunbeams and the salty moisture in seashores; enables easy elimination of moisture off the surface for its transparency of vapor; and is resistant against alkalis, acids, friction, adhesion, is elastic, resistant to UV lights and also to chemical impacts.

Areas of usage:

The exterior paint is intended for use on any concrete surfaces of exterior parts of buildings and such construction elements as brick betopan, gas concrete and bricks with suitable primer.

Manner of application:

Stir thoroughly before application; apply by roller or brush; the paint can be thinned with water by 10 - 30 % on volume basis depending on the condition of the application surface. Stand-by time between the coats is minimum 4 hours. The intended application floor/ surface should be cleaned thoroughly for dirt, oil residues, dust, bloated former paint residues, be applied Tek Silicone Exterior Primer; any significant cracks and cavities on the surface should be filled with plaster, dried, then Tek Izolan Primer Coat should be thinned by 1/7% and the dust on the surface should adhere to the plaster, then applied Tek Silicone Exterior Primer before the application of paint, which should be applied in minimum two coat layers.

Application Temperature:

+5 C° to +30 C°; the paint is recommended to be applied at noon (between 11:00 and 14:00) in seasonal transition periods, characterized by significant temperature differences between night time and daytime. The exterior paint should be applied 1 day after the application of Tek Silicone Rammed Acrylic Lining upon ensuring appropriate dryness of clean and smooth surfaces.

Covering capacity:

1 liter of paint can cover 12-16 m2 and 1 kg of paint can cover 10-14 m2 depending on the color and the condition/ characteristics of the application surface. (For dry film of 28 ± 5 mic thickness in single coat)

Drying Time:

Touch-free drying time at 20 C° is 2 hours; fully hardening time is 24 hours.

Hazard and Security Warning:

Harmful to health if ingested or contacted to eyes. Keep out of the reach of children and protect from extremely high temperatures and frost. A thoroughly sealed package can be stored for minimum 1 year at room temperature.
